Bonus point win against Blyth for the Men's First XV, but the Vikings and Roses both lose

The first XV secured a bonus point 40 15 at home to Blyth (see the match report on the team page), but a makeshift Vikings lost 40 10 away at Blyth.

The Vikings score came from a try from Tom Betham and a debut try for Brad Burrows. The Vikings have an opportunity to get back to winnnig ways away to Jarrovians 2nd XV on October 4th.

The Roses lost 29 5 against Novos 2nd XV (report to follow)
